Pashupatinath 
(World Heritage Site):
Pashupatinath is one of the holiest shrines in the world.The temple is dedicated to lord Shiva and is built in the familiar Pagoda style. Chronicles indicate the temples's existence prior to 400 A.D. This holy place is picturesque collection of temples and shrines. All the dying persons are brought to Pashupatinath for cremation . Only the Hindus are allowed to go inside.

Swaymabunath/ Monkey Temple
(World Heritage Site):
The Swayambunath Stupa crowns a hillock to the west of KAthmandu. A massive white dome sourrounded by a 13 stage spire,the stupa is one of the most scared Buddhist sites in Nepal. It is said to be 2000 Years old. Its origin is linked to the founding of the Kathmandu valley, draining the water out of the lake by Bodhisattva Manjushree.

Boudhanath
(Worl Heritage Site):
It is the world's biggest stupa licated about 8 Kilometers from the city center. This colossal stupa is known by the name of Boudhanath,the god of wisdom. It is difficult to assign a period to it, as some believe that it was built during the resign of either Shiva Dev or Anshu Verma in the 7th century A.D. Boudhanath attracts the Buddhist pilgrims from all over the world.

Patan Durbar Square
(World Heritage Site):
It is an enchanting melange of Palace Buildings,artistic courtyards and graceful pagoda temple. This Square was the former Royal Palace Complex which was the center of Patan's religious and social life and houses a museum containing an array of bronze status and religious monuments. 


Bhaktapur Durbar Square
(world Heritage Site):
It is one of the third important historic cities in the Kathmandu valley. It lies 14 km to the east of Kathmandu and covers an area of 4 Sq miles. Its Durbar Square is a symphony of art and architecture belonging to the medieval period. The center piece is the 55- window palace overlooking the Square which is paved over the bricks. Among the other monuments around the Durbar Square are worth visiting. 


Changunarayan
(World Heritage Site):
The temple of changunarayan is richly decorated with sculptures and carving and is said to be the oldest pagoda style temple in the valley. The temple ,built around the third century, is decorated by some of the best samples of stone,wood and meta craft. The courtyard has many other temples such as that of Kiloswar,Shiva.Chinnamasta Devi and other figures like Garud and different images of Vishnu. 


Budhanilkantha: 
About 8 km north of Kathmandu,at the base of Sgivapuri hill is a remarkable colossal statue of Lord Vishnu, reclining on the bed of Snakes. This is one of the masterpiece of stone statue in the middle of small pond and seems to float in water.

Lumbini Package

The birthplace of Lord Buddha lies in the plains south west of Kathmandu. It is a sacred place for Buddhists from all over the world, standing on an equal footing with holy places sacred to other world religions.  Lumbini is situated in Nepal about 22 kms from Bhairahawa of Nepal in the foot hills of Himalayas.

Attractions

The place itself is interesting as a whole, the landscapes and the green forestry. However Maya Devi temple and the Stupas and the Pillar built by Ashoka are really worth a visit. Recently, several beautiful shrines have been constructed by devotees from all over the world. A visit to Lumbini is not only for spiritual enlightenment but also for solace and satisfaction that one gets in such a calm and peaceful place.

Maya Devi Temple - Lumbini remained neglected for centuries. In 1895, Feuhrer, a famous German archaeologist, discovered the great pillar,further exploration and excavation of the surrounding area revealed the existence of a brick temple and a sandstone sculpture within the temple itself which represents the scenes of Buddha’s birth. On the south of the Maya Devi temple there is the famous sacred bathing pool known as Puskarni. It is believed that Maha Devi took a bath in this pool before the delivery. The temple is built gradually and is composed of many temples, one after the other. It is also found that there is possibility that a Ashoka Stupa existed in the place of temple.

The Ashokan pillar - The Ashokan Pillar, essentially erected by Ashoka (249 BC) visited Lumbini and erected an inscribed Ashokan Pillar on the spot of Buddha's birth. The inscription of the pillar (the oldest in Nepal) declares that Ashoka granted Lumbini tax-free status in honor of Buddha’s birth. It is 6m high and half of it is beneath the ground. It is behind the Maya Devi Temple, to the west of the temple. Emperor Ashoka erected many other pillars throughout India. The carved top of the pillar has never been found.

The Buddhist monastery - Its built in the way of the modern Buddhist temples of Nepal but is quite important in the purview of architecture of the walls. The middle hall contains some exquisite murals resembling the medieval periods

Day 01: POKHARA (820 M) -NAYAPUL (1070 M) /TIRKHEDHUNGA (1540 M).

After breakfast meet your Guide and porters at Hotel in Pokhara. We drive to Nayapul- 41 km, which takes approximately one and half-hour. Then we proceed on trek towards Birethanti (1065 m) that is located on the opposite bank of Modi Khola. There is a large and prosperous town with a winding street paved with large stones. After immediately leaving the main street of Birethanti we pass through a large waterfall and swimming hole and our trail stays on the north bank of the Hurungdi Khola on a fairly level up to Sudame Village. After Sudame, the trail climbs steadily up the side of the valley about 45 minutes to reach the Tirkhedhunga village. O/N at Lodge in  Tirkhedhunga. 4 hours walk.

Day 02: TIRKHEDHUNGA (1540 M) / GHOREPANI (2750 m).

Today after crossing over the Burungdi River on a large bridge at 1410 m, the trail immediately climbs very steeply up to the large Magar Village of Ulleri (1960 m). As we climb, the tops of Annapurna South (7219 m), Hiunchuli (6441), begin to merge from behind the hills. After Ulleri, the trail climbs gently through pastures and cultivated fields. The fields soon give way to deep forest as the trail climbs to Banthanti (2300 m) where we stop for our lunch at the local restaurant. We can see the view of Gangapurna (7454 m) and Fish Tail (6993 m). Beyond the village of Banthanti , there are magnificent oak and rhododendron forest. From here, Ghorepani is reached in about 3 hours past some sparkling clear streams and some teashops. O/N at local lodge in Ghorepani. 6 hours walk.

Day 03: GHOREPANI (2750 m) / TADAPANI (2590 m).

An early morning excursion to POON HILL (3200 m) about an hour climb, which provided an unobstructed view of the High Himalayas such as Dhaulagiri (8167 m), Annapurna South (7219 m), Annapurna I (8091 m), Tukuche Peak (6920 m), Hiunchuli (6441 m), Fish Tail (6993 m), Annapurna III (7555 m), Annapurna IV (7525 m), Annapurna II (7939), Lamjung Himal (6932 m), Nilgiri South (6839 m), Manaslu (8163 m) etc.

Poon Hill is one of the best places of the world from where we can see the Superb views of the Himalayas.  After enjoying the mountain views from Poon Hill, we come down to Ghorepani for our breakfast. After the breakfast, we continue to walk for Tadapani (2590 m). The trail climbs on a stone staircase about one and half hour onto the ridge and then the trail goes down hill to the village of Banthanti (2520 m) through dense forest of oak, firs and rhododendron.

The village of Banthanti is located in the shadow of a huge rock face where we stop for our lunch. Beyond Banthanti, the trail starts climbing, leaving the moist, high mountain forests and entering a field of cane, making some ups and owns onto the ridge offers a brief view of the mountains. The trail climbs steeply about half an hour before reaching Tadapani which means "Far Water" is an ideal place to see the views of Annapurna ranges, Hiunchuli, Gangapurna, Glacier Dome, Fish Tail etc. O/N at lodge in Tadapani.  6 hours walk.

Day 04:  TADAPANI (2590 m) / GHANDRUK (1940 m)

Ghandruk trail descends steeply through a big and thick forest to Deurali. A short and steep descent continues gently past some gorge streams, finally leading out on a ridge towards Ghandruk. Ghandruk is beautifully set against the backdrop view of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Ganga Purna and Fish Tail. Trek to Ghandruk about 4 hours walk. Rest of the day is free to visit the local community. O/N at Lodge in Ghandruk.

Day 05: GHANDRUK (1940 m) / NAYAPUL (1070 m) -POKHARA (820 m).

Today all the way from Ghandruk to Nayapul is gradually down. Trek to Nayapul about 6 hours walk. Drive back to Pokhara about one and half hour.

Pick up from hotel in Pokhara and drive to Kande (1770 m), 31 km and one hour drive on Baglung highway. We take the right hand track gradual ascent through thin forest and reach to Australian Camp (2220 m). It takes two hour time to reach Australian Camp which offers the spectacular view of snow clad mountains of Annapurna ranges (Annapurna South, 7219 m, Annapurna I, 8091 m, Annapurna III, 7555 m, Annapurna IV, 7525 m, Annapurna II, 7939), Hiunchuli (6441 m), Fish Tail (6993) Lamjung Himal (6932 m), Manaslu (8163) etc. Your lunch will be here.  A further walk of 30 minute will take us to Pothana for over night stop. Total walking time two and half hours.

Day 02 : POTHANA / LANDRUNG 1565m.

After breakfast we take gradual uphill track to Bhickok Deurali (2100 m) and then steep down walk through thick forest of rhododendron until Bhichok Deurali where the trail ease. We further walk on an easy trail to Tolka (1700 m) for lunch. Post lunch we see easy downhill walk to Landrung, which is our night stop place. Total walking hour is 4
hour. We can see the views of Annapurna South (7219 m) & Himchuli (6441 m) from Landrung as well

Day 03 : LANDRUNG / GHANDRUK 1940m.

We walk down to Modi Khola (river) cross it on a suspension bridge and see a steep uphill walk to the large Gurung village of Ghandruk. To be in Ghandruk it takes 4 hours and we have both lunch and dinner there. Rest of the time we can utilize by going on a local excursion and exploring the area. Ghandruk is famous for recruiting the personnel to the British and Indian Army. Also offers the magnificent views of the peaks of Annapurna South, Himchuli, Mt., machapuchre, Annapurna III, Gangapurna (7454 m).

Day 04: GHANDRUK / NAYAPUL (1070 m)– Pokhara.

We see gradual descent walk to Syuli Bazar (1170 m) for 2 hours and we will stop here for our Lunch. Get on a flat land walk through rice fields until Birethanti (1025 m). We further walk on a very busy trail approximately one hour to Nayapul and then drive back to Pokhara. Total walking time 5 hours.

2 NIGHTS 3 DAYS GHANDRUK TREK

Post lunch we walk down to Modi Khola (river)  to take a steep uphill walk to Ghandruk, a large Gurung village for night stop. Ghandruk offers the view of Machhapuchhre (Fish Tail), Annapurna South and other peaks of Annapurna ranges. Total walking  time 6 hours.
Day 03: GHANDRUK TO NAYAPUL (1070 m) - Pokhara.

Bunjy Jump in Nepal

Bungy Nepal is probably the most spectacular jump on the planet. At 160 meters high in a tropical gorge with the Bhote Kosi, one of the world's wildest rivers, raging below, Bungy Nepal is Nepal's Ultimate Rush and one of the longest free-falls in the world.

The stunning natural surroundings so close to Tibet make the jump an almost magical experience.  Bungy is not available daily as a day trip from Kathmandu as it requires a Minimum of 10 participants on the day of your jump . Check for the closest available confirmed dates for the jump.

The jump master will first give a briefing. If you have any medical problems, please discuss them with the jump master. Kindly wear closed shoes for the bungy. Make sure your pockets are empty and know that cameras and bags are not allowed on the bridge.
